The app lets you share photos and videos in original quality while retaining the original metadata. Picudia organises everything by event, making it easy to browse, and keeps all media in chronological order. Visitors, participants and guests can all become photographers, capturing different perspectives and bringing the memories to life.

Photos and videos can be captured directly in the app or added to the event later. A free account is required to create an event. Participants join easily by link or QR code – they do not need an account to view content, and a free account is enough to upload and download.

Picudia provides a free “Picudia Public Space”, where you can create individual events and invite participants. Everyone at the event can upload photos and videos.

A Picudia event can be entirely private and protected – for a family celebration, an intimate wedding or a child’s birthday – or publicly accessible, such as a community event, company party, club celebration or large event with thousands of participants.

Depending on the plan, events can last up to 14, 31 or 366 days and have no storage limit. A free account also includes 5 GB in your private Picudia Cloud for permanently saving your own photos and videos, increasing to 50 GB with Premium.

Individuals: A group of friends goes on holiday together. One person creates a ten-day event and shares it by link or QR code. Everyone uploads photos and videos during the trip. The content remains chronological and in original quality, with plenty of time afterwards to download favourites or keep them in Picudia Cloud.

Companies: Ideal for company celebrations and team events. Employees become photographers and capture authentic impressions from many perspectives. The material can also support external communications, open days or social media.

Clubs: Useful for internal and public celebrations, competitions or performances, where spectators and fans can contribute too.

Large events: City festivals, concerts or sporting events with tens of thousands of participants – Picudia captures the atmosphere and emotion from every angle.

An event can be almost anything: meeting friends, going on holiday, taking a school trip, holding a family or club celebration and much more. Your event is whatever you make it.

Here is how it works: create an event, choose its name and dates, then invite participants. Everyone shares snapshots live during the event or during the upload phase afterwards, whose duration you select when creating the event. The album phase follows, giving everyone enough time to download favourite moments or save them permanently in Picudia Cloud.

Picudia’s core features are free. There are two free ways to use it. As a guest without an account, you can join events and view all photos and videos, though uploading and downloading require an account. With a free Free account, you can also create events, upload and download photos and videos, and use 5 GB in your private Picudia Cloud to keep favourite moments permanently.

Simply share your event’s invitation link or QR code. Everyone you invite can view the photos and videos directly in the app. With a free account, they can also download content in original quality.

Picudia is built specifically for events rather than being just another cloud drive. Here is what makes it different:

• Event-based organisation: Every photo and video from an occasion stays together and in chronological order.

• Unlimited participants without accounts: Guests join by link or QR code and can view everything without signing in.

Picudia offers four options for different ways of taking part:

• Guest (free, no account): Join events and view all photos and videos. Uploading and downloading are not available.
• Free (free account): 5 GB private Picudia Cloud, events lasting up to 14 days, photo and video uploads and downloads, and videos up to 30 seconds.
• Premium 1 (regular price €0.99/month or €9.90/year): Everything in Free, 15 GB storage, events up to 31 days, videos up to 90 seconds, past events and no ads.
• Premium 2 (regular price €3.49/month or €34.90/year): Everything in Premium 1, 50 GB storage, events up to 366 days and videos up to 300 seconds.

An annual subscription saves roughly two monthly payments compared with paying monthly. All prices include VAT. Billing is handled through your app store, either the Apple App Store or Google Play. Introductory prices apply for the launch: Premium 1 for €0.49 instead of the regular €0.99 per month (€4.90 instead of €9.90 per year), Premium 2 for €1.49 instead of the regular €3.49 per month (€14.90 instead of €34.90 per year). Lifetime price guarantee: anyone who subscribes during the introductory phase keeps these terms for as long as they remain a Picudia customer.

Choose between monthly and yearly billing:

• Monthly subscription: runs for one month and renews automatically for another month unless cancelled.
• Yearly subscription: runs for 12 months and renews automatically for another year unless cancelled.

There is no minimum commitment beyond the period you choose.

You can cancel at any time. To prevent automatic renewal, cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the current period ends, as required by the app stores. After cancelling, you can continue using Premium features until the paid period ends.

You must cancel at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. Cancellation is completed directly through your app-store account – Apple App Store or Google Play – rather than in the Picudia app. Written notice is not required.

Picudia is designed as an app for iOS and Android, where you create and manage events. Invitation links can also be opened on a computer; they will direct you to the event and the app.

Picudia.com explains everything about the app: how Picudia works, plan comparisons, answers to common questions and legal information. Events themselves are created and managed in the Picudia app, where you can also contact support by opening a ticket.

To create an event, first make a free account. Creating an event is easy: simply follow the prompts. Open “Events”, tap “+” and create your first event.

First create an event. Then select “Invite participants” from the event menu. You can copy and send the link or display the QR code, which lets people join by scanning it.

Picudia can also turn your QR code into a print-ready A4 PDF – as a poster, table stand, card set or plain QR code. Print it, put it on display and you are ready.

Joining an event is easy and you do not need an account to view it:

• By link: Tap the invitation link from the creator to go straight to the event.
• By QR code: Open the Picudia app, tap the scan icon and scan the event QR code.

Once you have joined, you can view all photos and videos immediately. With a free account, you can also upload, download and keep favourite moments in your Picudia Cloud.

For the event duration plus the upload phase set by the creator. The album phase follows, when all participants can view, download and save the content before the event is archived. Anything you download or move to your private Picudia Cloud is kept permanently.

Every event can have an unlimited number of participants.

Open the event and tap the participant icon near the top. You will see all current participants, including profile pictures and names where provided. As the event creator, you can remove people from this list and choose in the privacy settings whether the participant list is visible to everyone.

Any registered participant, provided you have enabled uploads for everyone as the creator. In the privacy settings, you can also restrict uploads to yourself. Guests without an account may view content but cannot upload or download it; a free account is enough to do both.

Yes. The app shares photos and videos in original quality and preserves their original metadata. This also keeps all content in chronological order.

Picudia does not impose a fixed megabyte limit. Photos are uploaded in original quality without compression. Video length depends on your plan:

• Free: up to 30 seconds
• Premium 1: up to 90 seconds
• Premium 2: up to 300 seconds

Only free registered accounts can upload; guests can view content only.

Picudia supports the common formats used by modern smartphones:

• Photos: JPG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF
• Videos: MP4, MOV

HEIC photos from iPhones are automatically converted to JPEG so that they work everywhere.

No. There is no limit on the number of photos or videos in an event, and the event itself has no storage limit. Only video length is limited – to 30, 90 or 300 seconds depending on the plan – along with private Picudia Cloud storage of 5 to 50 GB depending on the plan.

Photos and videos uploaded to an event marked “public” may be published without editing.

Why? At a city festival, club celebration or other public event, the city, club or organiser may want to showcase the occasion on social media or its own website. Participants help capture exactly that atmosphere.

Picudia distinguishes between private and public events because occasions differ greatly:

• Private event: Only invited participants have access. Ideal for weddings, family gatherings, birthdays or small trips. Content may not be reused without consent.
• Public event: Anyone with the link or QR code can join, and the organiser may use unedited photos and videos on social media or websites. Suitable for city festivals, concerts, company events or club activities.

You choose the appropriate option when creating the event and can change its visibility at any time.

The maximum event duration depends on your plan:

• Free: events lasting up to 14 days
• Premium 1: events lasting up to 31 days
• Premium 2: events lasting up to 366 days

Guests without an account cannot create events. Premium 1 and Premium 2 also let you create events in the past.

Premium 1 and Premium 2 let you create past events, with the upload phase starting immediately. This is not available to guests or Free accounts.

Why is that useful? Imagine a school trip ten years ago, your last holiday with friends or another occasion where everyone took photos and videos. Create an event with past dates, invite those people, and collect the memories you all captured at the time.

You can extend an event at any time up to the maximum duration allowed by your plan: 14 days with Free, 31 days with Premium 1 or 366 days with Premium 2.

As the event creator, you remain in control and can make the following changes while it is running:

• Edit the event name and description
• Extend its duration up to your plan’s maximum
• Invite or remove participants
• Delete individual photos and videos
• Switch visibility between private and public
• Change the event cover image

The event start date cannot be changed after it has begun. All changes are immediately visible to participants.

A guest user can join a Picudia event without registering. As a guest, you can view all photos and videos in the event.

What can guests not do?

• Upload their own photos or videos; a free account is enough to do this
• Download content
• Create events
• Like or favourite content
• Use a private Picudia Cloud for permanent storage

The good news: if you create an account later, your event memberships remain intact.

Your data belongs to you. We do not sell your personal data or pass it on to third parties. Registration only requires your email address; alternatively, sign in with your Google or Apple account. You may optionally add your name and a profile picture.

Trust is our priority, so we protect your account data with modern security technology. Full details are available in our privacy policy.

Your data belongs to you and Picudia treats it as strictly confidential.

• Account data – email, optional name and profile picture – is protected with modern technology and is never sold or shared.
• Event photos and videos remain in the shared event for its duration plus the upload and album phases, giving everyone enough time to save content before the event is archived.
• Content in your private Picudia Cloud remains there until you delete it.
• If you delete your account, all associated personal data and private content is removed completely.

The upload phase follows the event, then the album phase. During this time, you can download all content and keep it permanently on a device or storage medium of your choice. With an account, you can also save favourite moments permanently in your private Picudia Cloud. The event is archived afterwards; anything you saved remains yours.

Deleting your profile permanently removes all personal data:

• Your email address, name and profile picture are deleted.
• All content in your private Picudia Cloud is deleted.
• Events you created are ended and then deleted completely.
• Photos and videos you uploaded to other people’s events remain part of those events but are no longer associated with your profile. You can remove them yourself before deletion.

Recovery is not possible once deletion is complete.

No. Picudia uses passwordless sign-in. Enter your email address and the six-digit code we send you, or sign in directly with your Google or Apple account. There is no password to remember or change.

To change the email address linked to your account:

1. Open “Profile” → “Settings” in the app.

2. Select “Change email address” and enter the new address.

3. Confirm the change using the message sent to your new address.

Your old email address remains active until the new one is confirmed.

To add a profile picture:

1. Open “Profile” in the app.

2. Tap the placeholder or your current profile picture at the top.

3. Choose “Photo from library” or “Take photo”.

4. Crop the image if needed and confirm with “Save”.

Your profile picture is only shown in events you have joined and can be changed or removed at any time.

Picudia preserves the metadata in your photos and videos, so you know not only what happened but where. The app needs access to the location information in your media for this purpose. The metadata remains part of your content, including when you download it back to your device.

If you cannot upload a photo or video, first check your internet connection, which is required for uploads. You can also only upload media captured during the event dates, and only while the event is in its Live or Upload phase.

Quick Capture lets you take a photo or video immediately and add it straight to the event. You will find the “+” icon at the bottom right of the app.

Photos and videos captured directly in Picudia are sent straight to the event rather than stored on your device, saving local storage. Choose the media you want to keep and save it permanently by downloading it or moving it to your private Picudia Cloud.

Assign the app to a shortcut or action button in your phone settings, not inside Picudia.

• iPhone: Open “Settings” → “Action Button” or “Shortcuts”, then choose Picudia as the action.
• Android: Depending on the manufacturer, open “Settings” → “Advanced features” → “Side button” or “Button shortcuts”, then choose Picudia.

Once assigned, press the button to open Picudia and use Quick Capture to add a photo to your event immediately.

Open an event and start the slideshow. All photos and videos play full-screen in a Stories-style format, with each photo shown for around five seconds while the display stays awake. It is ideal for a projector or television at the event and for looking back together afterwards.

Yes. Choose chronological order to experience your event from the first moment to the last, or random playback for a varied look back.

No. Picudia does not automatically render a video with music. Instead, slideshow mode displays every memory from the event full-screen, while batch download lets you save every photo and video to your device in original quality and create whatever you like from them.

The fastest way to reach us is inside the app. Create a ticket under “FAQ & Support” and we will reply within 24 hours. We are happy to listen, help you get the best possible experience and hear your feedback.

If you are concerned about an uploaded photo or video, you can report it at any time. Open the relevant item, choose “Report media” and explain your report in at least 20 characters.

A reported photo or video is hidden immediately. The report is sent to both the person who created the media and the event creator for review. Each can assess your concern independently and respond. You will be notified of the response.

If you have already reported an item twice, you can ask Picudia for a final review. We carefully assess every report and act in the interests of everyone involved.

As the creator, you receive a notification when a photo or video in your event is reported. The item is hidden automatically until it has been reviewed. Here is what to do:

1. Open the notification and review the reported item and the reason given.

2. Decide whether the item violates the event rules or Picudia guidelines.

3. Choose “Remove media” to delete it permanently or “Approve media” if the report is unfounded.

The person who reported it is automatically informed of your decision.

You receive a notification as soon as one of your items is reported. It remains hidden from all participants during the review. Here is how to respond:

1. Open the notification and carefully read the reason for the report.

2. Consider whether the concerns are valid, such as privacy, image rights or relevance to the event.

3. You can delete the item yourself or submit a response and ask for it to be restored.

The event creator reviews the report at the same time. If you cannot reach agreement with the reporter or creator, Picudia can make a final decision.
